Well after almost four months, I can finally announce that we will be re-opening for business on Wednesday 15th July.
However, things will be far from normal, so please take your time to read the following new rules, procedures and guidelines. These are in place to enable us to open as safely as possible, and are for the benefit of all staff & customers at the Club.
Firstly, there is a slight change in the opening hours to start with. From Sunday to Thursday we will be open from 12pm to 8pm, and Friday & Saturday 12pm till midnight.
Food service will be from 12pm to 4pm Monday to Saturday, with late opening for food on Tuesdays till 7.30pm. We will also be running a full takeaway food service during these times.
As we are only opening at roughly 1/3 capacity, all tables must be booked in advance, whether for food or drink. Bookings can be made by phone, calling the Club on 01355 237643.
Tables will be for a maximum of 4 from mixed households, with 6 from one household allowed at the same table.
Bookings can only be made by Social Club members, for themselves and their guests. The member booking must be part of the table (ie 1 member may attend with up to 3 guests. They are not allowed to book a table for 4 non-members).
Bookings will be in hourly slots, up to a maximum of 4 hours, with 1 booking per day maximum (no customer can be in the Club for more than 4 hours per day, or more than once a day).
To avoid congestion at the entrance/exit there will be 2 tables arriving every 15 minutes.
The last booking for a table for food will be seated at 3pm (or 7pm on Tuesdays), with food service available until 4pm (7.30pm on Tuesdays).
We have to inform you all that we will be operating at 1 metre distancing inside the Club. You should all be aware of that before you take the decision on whether to come back or not.
On arrival you should wait inside the front door to be seated, and please have a read at any new signs and notices. If another table is already waiting inside, please wait outside the door until asked to enter.
All staff and customers will have their temperatures taken on arrival, and if their temperature is too high unfortunately they will not be allowed to enter the Club that day.
All relevant rules and regulations will be explained on your arrival, including increased use of sanitisers, seating arrangements, table service only, toilet arrangements, and any other information you are required to know.
We realise this will be a lot different to what was the normal in the Club. However, due to the current situation we have had no choice but to implement these changes in order to make the safest possible environment for our staff and customers.
