Brethren,

More bad news to report unfortunately. PM Joe Logan has just contacted me to let the Lodge know that Bro Brian Douglas passed away this morning.

Brian (along with Joe) affiliated from Lodge Riddrie 1340 in about 1996/7, and was very active in the Lodge for a number of years. As long as I've known him he has suffered from MS, but it didn't stop him serving as Chaplain for a number of years. He then moved to the administration side, serving for a number of years as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer working closely with myself, my father and Peter Cameron.

When his illness did keep him away from the Lodge he kept active by taking up wheelchair curling which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Unfortunately we've only really seen him at various funerals over the last few years, but he always asked after the Lodge which stayed close to his heart.

Another good Mason, and absolute gentleman, sadly no longer with us.

Bro Almoner has been informed, and will contact the family. I'll post here if I hear of any funeral
